Good is King šŸ‘‘

“Being Good.” “Feel Good.”

Where will those words take me?

What do they mean to me?

  • In one word: Authentic.
  • In one action: Contributing
  • In one desire: Infusing People Positively

What does it mean to you?Ā Are you Good? And are you Happy?Ā Why?Ā Why not?Ā Ā

šŸ”ŽSelf-ReflectionšŸ” “Are your thoughts, words & actionsĀ contributing toĀ orĀ taking from?”

Would you consider yourself a giver, or a taker?
In every situation & every encounter,Ā you’re either contributing to or taking from.Ā Are you focusedĀ on what you can do for others, or drivenĀ only by what you can get for yourself?Ā People think that when you take, you have. Not exactly – unless just a fleeting moment is what you’re after? Selfish intentions evaporate quickly. To keep having, you have to keep taking. An endless, unfulfilling rat race.

Take those people who own 12 Ferraris. If their 11th Ferrari didn’t make them happy, neither will their 12th. And I can guarantee you that their 13th, 14th or 15th won’t either. They’ll never fill that void with material things. Things can’t make one happy. They can’t. Many think they do. They don’t.

Self-reflection is a great awakening tool that’ll point you in the right direction. Which direction is that? Which way is your way?Ā Only you know. There isn’t a right way – just your way. Each journey varies, according to each person’s set of intentions, among other things. It’s wherever your self-reflection leads you. It’s whatever direction you want to go in. You find out what direction that is, by diving into that self-reflection. Knowing yourself is key to figuring out what you want, what you don’t, & where to go from here. Develop that self-awareness!

Be able to adapt, adjust.Ā Centered. Authentic.
Where are you? Where do you wanna go?
How will you get there?

Will your thoughts, words & actionsĀ contribute toĀ orĀ take from?

Don’t let anyone else tell you where you should go. The only one who knows that is you. An authentic person with genuine intentions will never tell you where they think you should go; instead they help you lead you to yourself, so you can figure out where you want to go. An authentic person will want you to succeed, even if you ‘rise higher’ than them. Beware of those who insist you’re wrong, saying, ‘No, like this.’

Listen to their advice, sure – just observe how you feel as you do. You’ll know if it’s right for you by how it makes you feel. Keep what resonates, leave the rest. Their advice, however well-intentioned, comes from their perspective, based on their experiences. Right for them.Ā Happiness, real happiness, imo, is not possible without healthy self-awareness. That’s why so many suffer. They think one thing, but say another, & what they do is not aligned with either. They’re all over the place & nowhere simultaneously. They don’t understand themselves. That’s no way to live. No direction, no conscious intention; lost, miserable, suffering. And without self-awareness they don’t know they can change that, & be happy. Attainable with just an attitude shift.Ā  Hopefully they have their lightbulb moment, & shift things into the lane they want to be in.

Connect to yourself. Do one believe the road signs there is no one way if it's your truth then its the right way there are many paths beyond the rules of limited thinking trust your instincts

The alternative is much less pleasant; one might crack, snap, lose their shit – & do something stupid – & then be stuck with the awful consequences. That’s the life of the non self-aware. Clueless about why they do the things they do; clueless as to why others do what they do. Confused, upset, or downright pissed off that their life is where it is at that moment, or where it isn’t. I think that’s in part why we’ve seen such an increase in violence, murders, crimes, etc. People can’t take it anymore, they just lose it – they commit crimes, wind up in jail, maybe self-medicate with drugs and/or alcohol. They destroy. Things. Themselves. Other people. Sadly, they sometimes choose to take others down with them, like in school shootings, bombings, etc. etc. Then there’s those hook-line-and-sinkered into others’ ideas, beliefs, ways, like in religions & cults. These groups exhibit the exact opposite of what they claim they do. A ton of gaslighting. All about control.

And they have no room for, or interest in, your Authenticity.Ā

Waking Up definitely sounds like the better option. The only option. It’s like winning a lottery that never stops paying out. Learning, growing, evolving; epiphanies, life lessons, synchronicities; depth, wisdom, fire. I could go on & on. I love this exquisite symphony. And I wouldn’t change a damn thing. But, sometimes the Universe changes things for you. Or you revisit something & see it on a completely different, or deeper level. Like this pic, a favorite quote of mine from Ghandi:

This really resonated with me, for a long time. A big goal of mine since I started waking up outta the Matrix. ‘With these 3 things in synch,’ I thought, ‘I’ll be much closer to having my proverbial shit together.’ Today it morphed slightly, into something deeper:

My attitude towards happiness has so totally changed; so much that when I saw the quote this morning, I laughed at an observed thought I had: “Well that isn’t true.” Anymore. For me. It’s almost like passing a grade. Suivant, next!

Happiness, I have mastered. To me, it’s a Choice. It’s a feeling inside; & we get to choose how to feel. It doesn’t, shouldn’t & just plain cannot be achieved by/from/through/with anything outside of you. Or any thing. That isn’t real happiness, not authentic happiness. It is conditional happiness. When you attach your happiness to a thing, what happens when the thing disappears or goes away? Bye bye happy!?

Nonsense! Talk about setting yourself up to fail!

So, with all that said, & all that decided to flow out; what being good means to me is being Authentic. Kind. Happy. Compassionate. Joyful. Those are some great things in life! Aware of my energy, my attitude, & how I affect others; there is much power in Positivity; in a Smile – it can be the difference between life & death for those on the edge. So compliment someone, just because you wanna give them a littel snippet of goodness. If you know better, do better. Emanate goodness, richness of Heart, Soul & Character. Make them leave an encounter with you feeling better, not worse. Emanate love, kindness, joy & compassion – & I guarantee, your whole world will change – for the much, much better.

You control all that. So go, march on to the beat of that crazy drum! Boogie! Life is whatever you want it to be. So be good!
